Today growers are facing an unprecedented challenge of having to farm crops while being hampered  by a shortage in labor, increasing costs and climate uncertainty. 

We believe that the best vineyards are farmed in a sustainable manner, farmed by experienced vineyard management teams leveraging both their farming experience  and farmer's intuition, and data and automated actions from precision farming technologies. 

A farmers experience and intuition allows them to make critical decisions throughout the farming season. As climate has become less predictable, and extreme weather events more frequently. It's become ever more difficult to plan, budget and execute farm plans without changes mid-season. 

Farming intuition, traditional organic and biodynamic practices coupled with precision farming techniques will improve the quality and yield of crops while maintaining or lowering farming costs. It also allows farms to have a system of record for all the key measurements of the current growing season and the previous seasons. 

We believe farming for the next decades will include smart farmers using new technologies to streamlined modernize their processes to manage S.M.A.R.T. vineyards and farms.

We strongly believe in the future of sustainable farming powered by emerging precision farming technologies to improve quality of fruit while lowering emissions, cost of farming and making us more resilient against extreme climate events. Data driven decision making allows for faster reaction to weather changes and proactive and predictive measures. We are creating a climate resilient playbook to be able to respond to the change in climate.

Our approach is to collaborate with farmers, entrepreneurs, and members of the academic community to build a set of capabilities that helps shape and evolve this vision. We believe this will be a journey which will bring transformative change to how we farm in the future and our success relies on everyone collaborating closely to pave the path forward.

Our mission is to work with world class farming teams and learn about their needs from a technology and data perspective to develop a network of technology providers, vineyard management teams and entepeneurs to modernize and evolve organic farming for the next century.

We continue to identify, evaluate, build, champion and share best practices, technologies and training material which can simplify, expedite and scale farming practices.
